This summer, Jiahemay Seniors Association actively participated in community events, from nursing home visits to local cultural festivals. On September 21, we joined the Mississauga Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival at Square One Shopping Centre, one of the city’s largest annual celebrations attracting thousands of visitors.

Our association presented four dance performances and two band pieces, showcasing the talents of our senior members. A special highlight came from two young performers, aged 10 and 13, who played SexPhone and clarinet alongside their grandparents. Their lively presence added youthful energy to the stage and beautifully reflected our mission of connecting generations and strengthening community bonds.

这个夏天，家和美协会积极参与社区活动，从养老院慰问到本地文化节演出都有我们的身影。9月21日，我们参加了在密西沙加最大购物中心 Square One 举行的年度中秋美食灯会，该活动吸引了数千名观众。

协会为大家带来了4个舞蹈和2个乐队节目，充分展现了长者们的艺术才华。特别亮点是两位年仅10岁和13岁的小朋友，他们在乐队中演奏 萨克斯和单簧管，与爷爷奶奶同台合作，舞台上洋溢着青春与温情，也生动诠释了我们促进代际交流、凝聚社区的宗旨。
