10月16日，家和美长者联谊会在Chartwell Robert Speck长者公寓为长者们举办了一场温馨的文艺演出会，为长者们带来温暖而愉悦的下午。协会准备了14个精彩节目，包括民族舞、芭蕾、乐器演奏和经典歌曲等，由四十多位演员和义工参与，为长者们带来了耳目一新的体验。

演出当天，长者们就早早聚集在公寓门口，热情地与我们打招呼并合影留念，现场气氛热烈而温馨。随着音乐响起，长者们兴致勃勃地与演员互动，尤其是在几首熟悉的经典英文歌曲中，热闹的人情不自禁地轻轻哼唱，仿佛回到了青春时光。每个节目都带来了不同的欢乐，长者们的脸上洋溢着笑容。

整场演出为长者们带来了丰富的视听享受。演出结束后，公寓负责人特意写了一封感谢信，表达了对家和美长者协会的衷心感谢，并赞扬活动带来了真实的欢乐和温暖。看到他们的真实反馈，协会全体演员和义工都感到能为长者献爱心，做贡献而无比欣慰。

家和美长者联谊会自成立以来，始终秉持“关爱长者，传递温情”的真理，通过各种文艺活动，为长者们带来陪伴与温暖的未来。我们将继续走进长者们的生活，为他们带来关心和欢乐，让更多的人享受到温度。

On October 16, the Jiahemay Senior Association held a warm and artistic performance for the elderly at the Chartwell Robert Speck Elderly Apartment, bringing them a warm and pleasant afternoon. The association prepared 14 wonderful programs, including folk dance, ballet, instrumental performances, and classic songs, with the participation of more than 40 actors and volunteers, bringing a refreshing experience to the elderly.

On the day of the performance, the elderly gathered at the door of the apartment early, greeted us enthusiastically, and took photos with us. The atmosphere was warm and warm. As the music sounded, the elderly interacted with the actors with great interest, especially in several familiar classic English songs, the lively people couldn’t help but hum softly, as if they had returned to their youth. Each program brought different joys, and the faces of the elderly were filled with smiles.

The whole performance brought rich audio-visual enjoyment to the elderly. After the performance, the apartment manager wrote a thank-you letter to express his heartfelt gratitude to the Jiahemay senior Association and praised the event for bringing real joy and warmth. Seeing their real feedback, all the actors and volunteers of the association felt extremely gratified to be able to show their love and contribute to the elderly.

Since its establishment, the Jiahemay senior Association has always adhered to the truth of “caring for the elderly and conveying warmth", and through various literary and artistic activities, it has brought companionship and a warm future to the elderly. We will continue to walk into the lives of the elderly, bring them care and joy, and let more people enjoy the warmth.

在9月，家和美长者联谊会从户外活动转回室内，活动气氛热烈。我们组织了丰富多样的室内活动，包括太极拳、太极扇、象棋、交流、乐队演出、模特舞蹈、民族舞蹈提高班和卡拉OK，参与者积极展示自己的才艺。

部分舞蹈队成员继续在户外练习腰鼓和新舞蹈，既锻炼了身体，也增进了彼此间的联系。此外，我们还举办了骑自行车活动，受到移民长者的热烈欢迎，帮助大家了解加拿大的骑行安全规范。

在10月和11月，我们将组织两场爱心公益演出，前往长者公寓和养老院，志愿者们正在积极排练，演出将增设互动环节，让长者不仅能欣赏表演，还能参与其中。

In September, the jiahemay senior Association moved from outdoor activities back to indoor activities, and the atmosphere was lively. We organized a variety of indoor activities, including Tai Chi, Tai Chi fans, chess, exchanges, band performances, model dance, folk dance improvement classes and karaoke, and participants actively showed their talents.

Some members of the dance team continued to practice waist drums and new dances outdoors, which not only exercised their bodies but also enhanced their connections with each other. In addition, we also held a cycling event, which was warmly welcomed by immigrant elders and helped everyone understand Canada’s cycling safety regulations.

In October and November, we will organize two charity performances to go to senior apartments and nursing homes. Volunteers are actively rehearsing, and the performances will add interactive sessions so that the elderly can not only enjoy the performances, but also participate in them.

2024年9月14日，家和美长者联谊会在密市中国城参加了 community crime awareness day. 2024 Mississauga
Harmony Fest 社区犯罪防范日，由张会长带领的30多位会员带来了两场精彩表演。

首先，舞蹈 “金色的太阳” 男演员身穿绿色军装，女演员佩戴藏族头饰，整个节目活力十足，尽管舞台较小，表现依然出色。

随后， “中国功夫太极扇” 演员们身穿白色太极服，手持红扇，动作整齐，展示了太极的力量与柔美。
特别值得一提的是，菲律宾男会员积极参与了演出，虽然不懂中文，但他展现了多元文化的融合，并且还邀请了其他菲律宾朋友参与我们的太极活动。

活动期间，会员们还与警察交流了社区安全问题，提升了防范意识。大家合影留念，愉快地结束了这一天。

On September 14, 2024, Jiahemay senior Association participated in the community crime awareness day at the China Festival in Mississauga. 2024 Mississauga
Harmony Fest Community Crime Prevention Day, more than 30 members led by President Zhang brought two wonderful performances.

First, the dance “Golden Sun" male actors wore green military uniforms and female actors wore Tibetan headdresses. The whole show was full of vitality. Although the stage was small, the performance was still excellent.

Then, the actors of “Chinese Kung Fu Tai Chi Fan" wore white Tai Chi clothes, holding red fans, and their movements were neat, showing the power and softness of Tai Chi.
It is particularly worth mentioning that the Filipino male member actively participated in the performance. Although he did not understand Chinese, he showed the integration of multiple cultures and invited other Filipino friends to participate in our Tai Chi activities.

During the event, members also communicated with the police about community safety issues and improved their awareness of prevention. Everyone took a group photo and ended the day happily.

7月20日，家和美协会参加了首届亚洲美食节的演出，吸引了上千名观众。尽管天气炎热，演员们提前到场，化妆、换装，并抓紧时间排练。

藏族舞蹈《太阳姑娘》充满活力，赢得了热烈掌声。走秀舞蹈《漫步人生路》的独特服装设计特别受外国观众赞赏。太极表演《中国功夫》也大获好评。

这次演出成功离不开幕后工作人员的努力。jack会长亲自到场加油，并送来矿泉水。模特领队陈老师观看排练视频，提醒队员注意细节。Wendy精心挑选服装，确保每个造型都独具特色。

美食节不仅有丰富的美食，还有多彩的文化表演和摩托车秀。家和美协会的演出展示了成员们的才华和团队精神，给观众带来了欢乐。期待未来更多精彩活动！

The collision of deliciousness and excitement: Performance report of the Asian Food Festival of the jiahemay senior Association

On July 20, the Family Harmony and Beauty Association participated in the performance of the first Asian Food Festival, attracting thousands of spectators. Despite the hot weather, the actors arrived early, put on makeup, changed clothes, and took the time to rehearse.

The Tibetan dance “Sun Girl" was full of energy and won warm applause. The unique costume design of the catwalk dance “Walking on the Road of Life" was particularly appreciated by foreign audiences. The Tai Chi performance “Chinese Kung Fu" was also well received.

The success of this performance is inseparable from the efforts of the staff behind the scenes. President Jack personally came to the scene to cheer and sent mineral water. Model leader Teacher Chen watched the rehearsal video and reminded the team members to pay attention to details. Wendy carefully selected the costumes to ensure that each look was unique.

The Food Festival not only has rich food but also colorful cultural performances and motorcycle shows. The performance of the Family Harmony and Beauty Association showed the talents and team spirit of the members and brought joy to the audience. We are  looking forward to more exciting events in the future!

2024年6月28日，我们的演出队伍（共三十多人）来到Silverton Care Community养老院进行了一场爱心演出。这家养老院有160位居民，已有近20年的历史。这次演出得到了张Celiea和Wendy的帮助和联系，使得我们能够积极参与社区精神文明建设，宣传中国传统文化。

为了确保演出成功，演员们提前三个星期开始排练，并从远处赶来，提早两个多小时出发。当天，jack会长和义工们早早布置好会场，确保演出顺利进行。

我们的节目丰富多彩，包括6个舞蹈和6个乐队演出，涵盖了乐器演奏、舞蹈表演、唱歌、走秀和腰鼓表演等。节目既有西方音乐，也有中国特色的舞蹈，演员们的服装鲜艳、设计独特。乐队演奏了怀旧的歌曲，让老人们回忆起年轻时的美好时光。男声独唱了英文歌曲《Can’t Help Falling in Love》，引发了全场的共鸣。

现场气氛热烈，老人们热烈鼓掌。专业资深摄影师龙头医生捕捉了每一瞬间的美好，并连夜制作编辑了视频。义工光华为大家拍摄了完整的演出视频。尽管身体不适，节目主持人吴萍仍坚持完成了主持任务，令人感动。

演出圆满成功，养老院的负责人当场邀请我们进行下一次演出。他们表示，老人们从未见过如此精彩的演出，大家都非常高兴。我们将继续发扬这种爱心，举办更多的义工演出，为社会做出更多贡献。感谢团友的邀请和所有参与者的辛勤付出，期待下次更精彩的演出。

On June 28, 2024, our performance team (more than 30 people in total) came to Silverton Care Community Nursing Home for a loving performance. This nursing home has 160 residents and has a history of nearly 20 years. This performance was helped and connected by Zhang Celiea, which enabled us to actively participate in the spiritual civilization construction of the community and promote Chinese traditional culture.

In order to ensure the success of the performance, the actors started rehearsing three weeks in advance and came from afar and set off more than two hours in advance. On that day, the president and volunteers set up the venue early to ensure the smooth progress of the performance.

Our program is rich and colorful, including 6 dances and 6 band performances, covering instrumental performances, dance performances, singing, catwalks and waist drum performances. The program has both Western music and dances with Chinese characteristics, and the actors’ costumes are bright and uniquely designed. The band played nostalgic songs, allowing the elderly to recall the good times when they were young. The male solo sang the English song “Can’t Help Falling in Love", which resonated with the audience.

The atmosphere was warm and the elderly applauded enthusiastically. Professional and experienced photographer Dr. Longtou captured the beauty of every moment and edited the video overnight. Volunteer Guanghua filmed the complete performance video for everyone. Despite being unwell, the host Wu Ping insisted on completing the hosting task, which was touching.

The performance was a complete success, and the person in charge of the nursing home invited us to perform next time on the spot. They said that the elderly had never seen such a wonderful performance, and everyone was very happy. We will continue to carry forward this love, hold more volunteer performances, and make more contributions to society. 5月26日下午，我们受邀在密市多元文化节的中国馆进行舞蹈表演。尽管风雨交加，演员们冒雨准时到达并专业地完成了演出。约2000多名游客参加活动，表演赢得了热烈掌声。这次活动展示了我们协会的风采，并促进了中外文化交流。

Actively participate in multicultural festivals

On the afternoon of May 26, we were invited to perform a dance at the Chinese Pavilion of the Mississauga Multicultural Festival. Despite the rain and wind, the performers arrived on time and performed professionally. About 2,000 tourists attended the event and the performance won warm applause. This event showcased the elegance of our association and promoted cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

2024年5月10日，家和美长者联谊会在加拿大密西沙加市山谷市民活动中心礼堂举办了“相逢是首歌欢乐汇”，有100多位会员朋友喜气洋洋地参加了这次活动。

演出开始前一个多小时，演员们就提早来到演出场地，开始了准备工作，到休息室化妆、换上漂亮的演出服装，有的节目组还抓紧时间进行上场前的排练。身着各式演出服装的演员们个个精神焕发，进进出出，说说笑笑，造型拍照，好不热闹！真像一个和和美美的大家庭！虽然演员们大多是长者，但在这里，她们身上却洋溢着青春的活力。

“相逢是首歌，歌手是你和我”，家和美长者联谊会为生活在密西沙加市及周边城镇的华裔长者朋友们提供了这块优质的活动平台，让大家每周都有机会走出家门，唱歌、跳舞、演奏乐器，培养文艺兴趣、爱好，在异国他乡寻找快乐的幸福生活品质、构建和美的多元社会氛围！

今天的活动是前一段各组排练的总汇演。

演出场地经过精心的布置，三面摆上桌椅，围成观众席，正面挂着“家和美长者联谊会”大幅会标，红底透白字，非常醒目。

两位主持人上场了，男的英俊、女的漂亮，她们声情并茂的主持词，引来了台下一片片掌声。

第一个节目——开场腰鼓《鼓动天地》，演出效果那叫一个震撼！ 10名美女演员粉衣白裤，蓝边绘金坎肩，看似盔甲一般，红绸扎头，英姿勃勃，斜跨腰鼓，鼓槌上飘着长长的红绸飘带，她们身姿矫健，动作轻盈，随鼓点翻身跳跃，舞红绸，抖出气魄；跨箭步，豪迈奔放，伴随着欢快的节奏，鼓动天地、气势磅礴！

舞蹈《让中国更美丽》，只见舞台上红裙飘飘，耳听着乐曲悠扬，演员们舞姿翩翩，动作舒展，大气优美，完全表达出了希望祖国更加美好的愿望。

由家和美长者联谊会会长Jack表演的电吹管独奏——《听妈妈讲那过去的事情》，出场方式新颖，他穿着海魂衫，在观众席位轻轻吹响电吹管，又度步到舞台中央，曲调悠扬的乐曲使长者们想到了熟悉的歌词——月亮在白莲花般的云朵里穿行，晚风吹来一阵阵快乐的歌声，我们坐在高高的谷堆旁边，听妈妈讲那过去的事情。听着听着，长者们仿佛回到了纯真的童年。

藏族舞蹈《太阳姑娘》，你是我的太阳，我是你的翅膀，我们到天空自由飞翔，在欢快活泼的乐曲中，演员们舞步优美奔放，充满活力，一招一式，藏味十足。特别是演员艳丽多彩的演出服装格外抢眼。
男女声歌表演《胡琴说》（音乐剧《二泉吟》选段），由胡慧饰演女儿阿莉，由熊建成饰演养父阿泉，父女俩在穷困潦倒中沿街卖艺、相依为伴，在两人娓娓动听的歌声中充盈着家人陪伴的温馨，在历经人世间百感沧桑后，她们还存有对共同生活的眷恋之情，演员化妆经典，表演惟妙惟肖，情真意切，非常感人。
太极拳表演是一个保留节目，表演者动作流畅自然，刚柔相济，柔中带刚，刚中含柔，既有力量，又有美感，让人心旷神怡。
家和美乐队器乐合奏《男儿当自强、沧海一声笑》，气势磅礴、豪迈大气，时而浑厚的低音在演出现场回荡，震动人心。乐队队员娴熟的演技和默契的配合，使得两首经典乐曲无缝连接，珠联璧合。

斗笠舞《农家乐》，演员粉裙粉裤白坎肩，手拿精美的插画斗笠，伴随着悦耳的旋律，轻盈欢快地舞起来，舞出了农家风味、舞出了家园美好、舞出了幸福情感。欢快中还有俏皮，寓意着生活中的情趣。
旗袍走秀《花舞人间》，表演者身材高挑，手持红扇，莲步轻易，一袭黑色旗袍尽显优雅高贵之气质。
单人武术表演《八卦剑》，这女子武术功底深厚，以意行气，以气运剑，剑随身行，步随剑动，长剑上下翻飞，如行云流水一般，静而不滞、柔而不软，真有功夫啊！
手风琴、曼陀铃、口琴合奏《波兰圆舞曲》，一般地说，曼陀铃与手风琴，是乐器中的绝佳配合，但加上电子口琴，效果会是怎样？三人演奏给了答案：更好！不同音色的配合演绎了完美动人的旋律，让人明显感受到了异国风情的浪漫气息。
歌伴秀《梨花颂》，有演、有唱、有秀，一人京剧中的全套扮相，一人唱：梨花开、春带雨，梨花落、春入泥，10多人旗袍走秀，看点多多，挺有意思！
旗袍舞蹈《上海谣》，伴随着江南乐曲，演员们穿着各种款式旗袍跳起舞来，风姿各异，极具典雅韵味！
由家和美乐队演奏的《花儿与少年》，各种乐器配合默契，旋律优美动听，节奏明快活泼，受到了大家的欢迎。
健身气功《八段锦》，这是中国传统保健功法，强身健体，三十位表演者一起上场，动作整齐划一，身段舒展，优美柔顺。因为是每天练习，才有舞台上熟练的表演。
扇子舞《万疆》，粉色舞裙大红扇，翩翩舞起来。红日升在东方，其大道满霞光。我何其幸生于你怀；承一脉血流淌，难同当福共享挺立起了脊梁。壮观大气的舞蹈给人们提供了一道文化盛宴。
最后一个节目——互动拉丁舞，极具动感的乐曲，点燃了现场热烈的气氛，人们纷纷下场开心地跳起来、舞起来，场上场下，一片欢腾。

加拿大密西沙加市的国会议员兼多元文化办公室助理谢尔夫·沙巴威到活动现场发表了热情洋溢的讲话，他向家和美长者联谊会的全体会员朋友们问好并祝贺这次活动圆满成功！

密西沙加市市长候选人方启刚（华裔）也上台用流利的汉语问候各位同胞并简要介绍其竞选纲领。

两个多小时的演出落下了帷幕，大家互道珍重。依依不舍地挥手道别！
这次活动之后，在有200多人参加的家和美长者联谊会群里，人们纷纷祝贺家和美长者联谊会举办“相逢是首歌欢乐汇”圆满成功！
大家由衷地感到：在加拿大多元文化的社会里，加入到家和美长者联谊会这样的大家庭之中，生活一定会更加和美、幸福！
