2024年6月28日，我们的演出队伍（共三十多人）来到Silverton Care Community养老院进行了一场爱心演出。这家养老院有160位居民，已有近20年的历史。这次演出得到了张Celiea和Wendy的帮助和联系，使得我们能够积极参与社区精神文明建设，宣传中国传统文化。

为了确保演出成功，演员们提前三个星期开始排练，并从远处赶来，提早两个多小时出发。当天，jack会长和义工们早早布置好会场，确保演出顺利进行。

我们的节目丰富多彩，包括6个舞蹈和6个乐队演出，涵盖了乐器演奏、舞蹈表演、唱歌、走秀和腰鼓表演等。节目既有西方音乐，也有中国特色的舞蹈，演员们的服装鲜艳、设计独特。乐队演奏了怀旧的歌曲，让老人们回忆起年轻时的美好时光。男声独唱了英文歌曲《Can’t Help Falling in Love》，引发了全场的共鸣。

现场气氛热烈，老人们热烈鼓掌。专业资深摄影师龙头医生捕捉了每一瞬间的美好，并连夜制作编辑了视频。义工光华为大家拍摄了完整的演出视频。尽管身体不适，节目主持人吴萍仍坚持完成了主持任务，令人感动。

演出圆满成功，养老院的负责人当场邀请我们进行下一次演出。他们表示，老人们从未见过如此精彩的演出，大家都非常高兴。我们将继续发扬这种爱心，举办更多的义工演出，为社会做出更多贡献。感谢团友的邀请和所有参与者的辛勤付出，期待下次更精彩的演出。

On June 28, 2024, our performance team (more than 30 people in total) came to Silverton Care Community Nursing Home for a loving performance. This nursing home has 160 residents and has a history of nearly 20 years. This performance was helped and connected by Zhang Celiea, which enabled us to actively participate in the spiritual civilization construction of the community and promote Chinese traditional culture.

In order to ensure the success of the performance, the actors started rehearsing three weeks in advance and came from afar and set off more than two hours in advance. On that day, the president and volunteers set up the venue early to ensure the smooth progress of the performance.

Our program is rich and colorful, including 6 dances and 6 band performances, covering instrumental performances, dance performances, singing, catwalks and waist drum performances. The program has both Western music and dances with Chinese characteristics, and the actors’ costumes are bright and uniquely designed. The band played nostalgic songs, allowing the elderly to recall the good times when they were young. The male solo sang the English song “Can’t Help Falling in Love", which resonated with the audience.

The atmosphere was warm and the elderly applauded enthusiastically. Professional and experienced photographer Dr. Longtou captured the beauty of every moment and edited the video overnight. Volunteer Guanghua filmed the complete performance video for everyone. Despite being unwell, the host Wu Ping insisted on completing the hosting task, which was touching.

The performance was a complete success, and the person in charge of the nursing home invited us to perform next time on the spot. They said that the elderly had never seen such a wonderful performance, and everyone was very happy. We will continue to carry forward this love, hold more volunteer performances, and make more contributions to society.
